Police investigate aggravated burglary in California Gully

Up to four offenders are on the run following a robbery in California Gully, during which a person was assaulted.

About midnight on Sunday, three to four people, all believed to be males, entered a home in Llewellyn Court.

Detective Senior Constable Andy Heazlewood, of the Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit, said they assaulted one of the occupants and stole a small amount of property.

The victim of the assault received minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

Three to four other people were also at the home at the time of the incident.

As police arrived, the offenders fled on foot towards Truscott Avenue.

Detective Senior Constable Heazlewood said the offenders had concealed their appearance.

Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
