Bendigo Football Netball League flag favourites Eaglehawk took the opportunity to train at the Queen Elizabeth Oval on Tuesday night.
Coach Josh Bowe put the Hawks through a sharp training session at the home of Bendigo football ahead of their grand final clash with Strathfieldsaye at the same venue on Saturday.
The Hawks’ senior and reserves squads looked relaxed and full of confidence in the lead up to the biggest day of the season.
Sportsbet.com.au has the Borough rated a $1.72 favourite to win their first senior premiership since 2008.
Strathfieldsaye, which won back-to-back flags in 2014-15, is the $2 outsider.
The teams have met three times this year, with Eaglehawk holding a 2-1 advantage.
The Borough will return to Canterbury Park on Thursday night for their final training session of the year.
Hundreds of the Borough’s loyal supporters are expected to attend training on Thursday night to cheer their favourite sons.
Strathfieldsaye will have its final training session on Thursday night on its home turf at Tannery Lane.
