The ball, which operated in a similar fashion as a debutante ball, saw students dress up in the finery and enjoy a night at the All Seasons Hotel.
Teacher and ball co-ordinator Laura Mow said the event was called a presentation ball to encourage more inclusiveness.
“It highlights the males roles in the event. They the same amount of dance practice and everything involved,” she said.
“We also had students wanting to form same-sex pairs for the first time. There was one girl-only couple who were best friends that wanted to dance together for fun.”
