The Bendigo Aquatic Centre will open this weekend after its winter hiatus.

The City of Greater Bendigo opens the extended season on Saturday and swimmers will be able to dive in at the Aquatic Centre from 6am to 6.30pm weekdays and 8am to 6.30pm on weekends until December, when hours will be extended.

Other local pools would open in November and December, though people could swim at East Bendigo all year round.

Seasons tickets would provide entry to outdoor swimming pools and could be purchased at the commencement of the swimming season direct from local pools.
