Walsh booted 50 goals in the home and away season for the Thunder.
Walsh’s tally of 50 is more than double that of her closest rival – team-mate Ayrlea Bailey-McClanahan (24).
Another Thunder player, Kerryn Harrington, finished fifth on the league goalkicking table with 14.
In what’s the competition’s inaugural season, the Thunder finished two games clear on top of the ladder with a 13-1 record – their only loss coming last Sunday with a 13-point defeat to Darebin.
The Thunder has this week off before playing in the second semi-final, which is slated for 1.30pm at Preston City Oval on Saturday, August 12, against either the Western Spurs or Diamond Creek.
