The Storm returned to their brilliant best in their 23.12 (150) to 8.11 (59) win.
The Bulldogs were competitive with the Storm in the first quarter, but from that point on the home side kicked 20 goals to six.
“It took us a little while to get going, but once we did we played some good footy,” Storm coach Darryl Wilson said.
“We were much better around the ball today and we had more contributors. It was really hard to pick out our best players because we had a lot of players play well.”
First-year key forward Alex Powell played his best game for the Storm. The athletic big man kicked three goals and had a big impact across half-forward.
Lachlan Sharp bagged 8.7 for the Storm to take his season tally to 72.
Midfielder Kallen Geary had a day out, while Pioneers-listed utility Bailey Henderson showed he could be an X-factor for the Storm in September.
After playing good football in the past fortnight, the Bulldogs were disappointing against the Storm.
They struggled to contain the Storm's ball movement on the open spaces of Tannery Lane.
On a day when the Bulldogs had few four-quarter performers, Jack Reaper, Trent Crosbie and Jack Scanlon were their best players.
The Storm will kick another cricket score next week when it travels to Maryborough, while Gisborne will host a Golden Square side on the rebound.
