Favourites in the women's Vic League One clash, CV was quick to push into attack from the first whistle.
Chelsea Hird opened the scoring for CV, but despite dominating possession, the Blazers couldn’t add to the score in the first half.
In the second half, the Blazers maintained possession as they linked up well across field.
The midfielders created many chances for interceptions and quick turnovers stretched the West Vic defence.
The Blazers added to their tally with goals from Tracey Johnson and Jade Deppeler. The Blazers defence were unlucky when a penalty stroke went West Vic's way, but Blazers countered quickly through another goal from striker Jade Deppeler.
CV celebrated an impressive 4-1 victory.
There were goals aplenty during the reserves match, with CV coming away 10-0 victors over West Vic. Sally Anderson, Amy O'Connor and Leila Padgham scored hat-tricks for CV, while Julz Roulston added one.
The results place the Vic League One side in fifth position on the ladder. With only six rounds to go in the season, CV is optimistic about its chances to push back into the top four and win a finals berth. The reserves sit comfortably in the top four.
Both sides will travel to Frankston on Saturday to take on Mornington Peninsula.
