Police officers have been targeting recidivist behaviour in the area after a sudden spike in offences.
Inspector Geoff Owen said Campaspe was still a safe place to live, but asked people to pass on any information to police.
“Information from the public is the lifeblood of policing,” he said.
“We don’t care how we get the information so long as we get it.”
Police are calling on members of the public to provide information on locations of stolen property, and the identity of thieves and drug traffickers in the six-week crackdown.
Officers from outside the Campapse region have been helping with the effort, including the NSW force.
Last week, more than 5700 vehicles were checked in a traffic blitz at Echuca and Rochester as past of the crackdown.
Police issued in excess of $17,000 in fines to motorists for offences such as driving an unregistered vehicle or unlicensed, not wearing seatbelts or using phones.
Four drivers were prosecuted for drug-driving and one was caught drink-driving.
Inspector Owen encouraged anyone with information to call their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000; or to submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
For urgent assistance or suspicious activity, he urged people to call triple-0.
