Police appeal for information on marquees stolen during the Bendigo Easter Festival

Police hope two men captured by a security camera will be able to help them with their enquiries into the theft of marquees during the Bendigo Easter Festival.

Two white marquees were stolen from Bull Street between 4am and 5am on Monday, April 17.

The marquees were owned by a hire company and had been set up in the street for the festival.

Together they are worth about $3600.

One of the men police hope to speak to was wearing a distinctive striped top at the time he was filmed by the security camera.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Senior Constable Nathan Guerin at Bendigo police station on 5448 1300 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
