Paramedics were called to assist a single patient, but there were no injuries.

Five cars were involved in the collision, according to Bendigo police.

Sergeant Marcus Uren said members at the scene had noted that the fog was “appalling”, with visibility reduced to 10 – 15 metres. 

The crash occurred about five kilometres north of Serpentine.
