Pritchard and Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence women’s head coach Kristen Veal will work with Adelaide Lightning and team head coach Chris Lucas.
“Its always an honour to represent your country and I have been so lucky to be attending my third World University Games," said Pritchard, who will lead the Spirit for third-straight WNBL seson in 2017-18.
"The team will work hard to get a medal for the Uniroos.
"The team will get together for a pre tournament in Japan then move to Taipei for the tournament.
“We have a really tough pool but if we can get through that we should be well placed for the crossovers.”
Pritchard’s selection comes on the back of Spirit star Kelsey Griffin recently being selected in the Opals squad to attend their camp in Phoenix Arizona later this month ahead of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup to be held in India in July.
