Police arrested a man in Western Australia following a shooting in Castlemaine last week where a clandestine laboratory was found.
The man was arrested by WA police in Ravensthorpe about 8pm on Tuesday evening (WA time) and is likely to face court in the state on Wednesday.
Victoria Police detectives are expected to travel to WA.
His arrest follows a shooting incident at a property on McGregor Street, Castlemaine, about 2.30pm on Friday, May 26.
A man in his 40s remains in hospital in a serious but non life-threatening condition after presenting at a hospital in Castlemaine about 3pm on May 26 with a gunshot wound.
A clandestine laboratory was discovered at the Castlemaine property.
