The Bendigo Blues Tram will host Hailey Calvert and Luke Watt on Saturday afternoon before popular music venue the Golden Vine features the Midweek Blues, The Flannos and Swamp Monsters.
With the exception of Queensland singer Calvert, all the acts are local to the Bendigo region.
Saturday’s Blues Tram gig will be Calvert’s fifth time on the Blues Tram while Watt is also experienced in playing aboard the unique venue.
Watt released his third album in 2015 and since then has played regularly around Victoria and the rest of the country.
Bendigo’s now-iconic blues tram was established six years ago and regularly provides two hours of music as the audience experience the city’s architecture and history.
After the Blues Tram finishes, music will keep flowing from the Golden Vine at 8.30pm with the Midweek Blues, The Flannos and Swamp Monsters.
The Midweek Blues began life as five mates jamming on a Wednesday night but after debuting at the 2014 Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival, they became regulars on the local music scene.
The Flannos take pride in specialising in a range of genres from blues to Aussie pub rock.
Describing themselves as players of “heavy funky blues”, The Swamp Monsters are five well-known Bendigo faces who banded together in 2014.
The Blues Tram featuring Hailey Calvert and Luke Watt leaves at 2pm on Saturday, May, 27 at 2pm from the Central Deborah Goldmine. Tickets are $35 and available from Bendigo Visitor Centre.
The Golden Vine’s Big Blues Rock Triple Shot is on Saturday, May 27, from 8.30pm.
