Runner-up in the opening two rounds, Ermel used his 19 years of club champion experience to hold off a fast-finishing Ben Goode and Ingrid Douglas in the Bridge Hotel-sponsored event.

Eighth in the first race of the season, Goode ran brilliantly to be second overall and win the open class from Parker and Ryan Shelton.
Douglas was almost 90 seconds faster than her previous BAC race and was first female on the Woodvale course ahead of Jess O’Hara and Rhonda Schultz.
The race for fastest time honours was won by Jacob Nolan, 22.29, from Parker and Dan Ryan.
The juniors 1km race was won by Georgia Ryan, which was her second victory of the season.
The White sisters, Freya and Georgia ran well to be second and third.
