The Bendigo teenagers were more efficient with the ball and more intense at the contest in their 15.5 (95) to 9.9 (63) win.
“The boys grouped together and gelled really well,’’ Bendigo coach Jason Stevens said.
“Their intensity was fantastic and they represented the league and their clubs really well.”
Bendigo didn’t have a passenger in the 32-point win.
The margin was as high as 50 points before Ballarat kicked the final three goals of the game.
Skipper Zane Keighran, South Bendigo’s Will Keck and Sandhurst’s Hugh Scheache were brilliant through the middle of the ground, while Hunter Lawrence was awarded the medal for Bendigo’s best player.
Ruckman Nathan McHugh was solid and Leyton Chisholm and Riley Walsh led the backline superbly.
