Victoria Police members were again in Hargreaves Mall today, as part of a combined effort to address community safety and anti-social behaviour.
Wednesday was the start of the extra police presence in the mall, with both uniformed officers and Highway Patrol members in the area.
Highway Patrol members were also focusing on pedestrian safety as part of the ongoing operation Red Man Three.
Senior Sergeant Ian Brooks said five traffic offences were detected in the combined operation on Wednesday and nine local law offences.
“It is disappointing that people continue to break rules that have been in place for a long time,” he said.
