The Rotary Club of Bendigo will again host its Easter art show inside the luminous surrounds of the city’s town hall building.
It is the 49th consecutive year the club will run its fundraising art shows.
The 2017 show will display a record number of entries over the venue’s two floors.
The 800 works belong artists from Bendigo, as well as Melbourne, Geelong and Wagga Wagga, and will vie for the $2500 Best in Show prize money.
All works entered in the show are available for purchase and buyers can expect to pay as little as $35, or as much as $15,000, for a creative keepsake.
The Easter show’s resident artist, watercolourist Nicholas Truscott, will be performing demonstrations twice daily over the holiday break.
Doors are open 9am to 5pm from Friday to Sunday, and 9am to 4pm on Easter Monday. Adult admission costs $5, while children enter for free.
