More than 20 households had registered by Tuesday afternoon, but Rhonda Whiteman said her phone was still running hot.
The Elmore Lions Club secretary said funds raised would support local causes.
“We’ve got a few in mind, but we can’t say at this stage,” she said.
In the past, the lions club has supported primary schools and causes such as Righteous Pups Australia.
It costs $10 to register your address as a seller, or $3 to buy a map of the registered addresses on the day.
The maps will be sold at the barbecue area of Railway Square.
The garage sale runs from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, April 1.
Organisers said people would be fools to miss the event on April Fool’s Day.
