The March 24 event at The Foundry will be a chance to hear from the Thunder's 2016 captain Emma Grant and vice-capatain Jess Kennedy on their experiences in the AFL Women's league.
New captain Leah French will also outline plans for an exciting season ahead for the club.
Chesters is the Thunder's number one ticket holder.
“There has never been a better time to get involved with women’s footy, as participation numbers increase and this year’s launch of the AFL Women’s league,” she said.
“It is really important we as a city get behind Grill’d Bendigo Thunder.
"This team is a real asset to our city and I am very proud to be a part of it.”
Bendigo Thunder’s Laura Flanagan encouraged everyone to come along and support their local women’s footy team.
“Lisa Chesters has been a great supporter of our club for a number of years now and it's fantastic to be doing such a wonderful event with her," she said.
“Women's footy is getting bigger and better every year and this is a really good opportunity for people who are not yet involved to jump on board with Bendigo's only senior women's football team.
“This fundraiser is going to be a great kick off for season 2017 and we really want to see some new faces come along and find out what women's football is about.
“We don't just want women to come along, bring the guys as well, there's going to be something for everyone at this fundraiser.”
The event starts at 5.30pm. Cost is $35, including first drink and canapes.
