For some, Valentine’s Day is just another day. For others, it's an excuse to shower their loved one with gifts and show their romantic side.
We put the call out to see how you spent Valentine's Day and what surprises you received. The response left me envious of all the roses that had been given. But it was wonderful to see the spirit of the day is alive in many relationships.
Courtney Trotter was over the moon when her partner came home with a gorgeous infinity symbol Pandora charm accompanied with a card that read “I love you, infinity”.
“We don't usually do Valentine's Day as our wedding anniversary is in nine days and usually think Valentine's Day is super corny so it was a lovely surprise”.
And Kelly Nugent was spot on when she said “it's amazing how something so simple can be worth a million dollars”.
If you received, or gave, a special gift we’d love to see your photos. Whether it was a large bunch of roses, chocolates, a romantic dinner for two, a handmade gift or something quirky, share your photos with us and give your partner a shout out for their efforts.
