The Maryborough-born and bred guard played 27 minutes in the Bucks' 102-89 win over Eastern Conference rival Detroit Pistons.
Despite not troubling the scorers, Dellavedova contributed five assists and a rebound, while playing a vital hand in limiting Detroit Pistons gun Reggie Jackson to only nine points.
The Bucks were without star forward Jabari Parker, who will miss the remainder of a season after tearing his ACL against Miami Heat last week.
Sixth-man Greg Monroe led the way for the Bucks with 25 points and 13 rebounds, well backed by Michael Beasley with 23 points and four assists.
The Bucks advanced their season record to 24-30 ahead of Thursday's clash against the Nets in Brooklyn.
