UPDATE 8.30am: Police will drug and alcohol test the driver of a white Ford sedan who struck a cyclist in Wellsford on Wednesday morning.
A passing motorist who witnessed the incident is also assisting police with their investigation.
The cyclist was now in a stable condition, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson has said.
The 49-year-old man from Kennington is being treated for head and back pain and is being accompanied by a police officer should he be able to make a statement.
The driver, from Wyuna, is still at the scene of the crash.
UPDATE 8.20am: A man, about 50, has been taken to Bendigo hospital in a serious condition.
EARLIER: Emergency services are responding to a crash on the Epsom-Barnadown Road near Bagshot.
It appears a car and cyclist have collided.
Traffic is down to one lane as police and ambulance officers work at the scene.
Paramedics are providing care to an injured man.
There is significant damage to the windscreen and bonnet of a white Ford.
