A CFA spokeswoman said crews would be re-attending this morning to check on the scene, but that they “put a stop on” the fire at 3am on Wednesday.
UPDATE, Tuesday 7:45pm: The grass fire at Durham Ox is under control, a CFA spokesman has said, but crews remain at the scene.
UPDATE, 6.20pm: CFA has called in a helicopter to try and extinguish a blaze that has fully engulfed a truck on the Loddon Valley Highway.
Advice has been issued to residents of Bears Lagoon, Jarklin, Durham Ox and Yarrawalla, telling them while there is no threat to their community, they should continue to monitor the fire.
EARLIER: Firefighters are on their way to Durham Ox where a fire that began in a truck has spread to nearby grass.
CFA members were called to the Loddon Valley Highway at 5.40pm.
Seven trucks are responding to the fire, which a CFA spokesperson said is headed in a westerly direction.
