Resuming the day on 233 against West Bendigo at Club Court, Dwyer added another 38 runs before he was dismissed for 271.
Dwyer’s innings came to an end when he was given out bowled by Gary Singh, although, there was some confusion around the dismissal given West Bendigo players appealed to square leg for a stumping.
While Dwyer fell short of Ross’ 283 not out scored for Marong on November 24, 2012, his tally is a new Sedgwick club record.
The Rams declared at 4-560 – a lead of 506 after last week bowling the Redbacks out for 54.
However, the Redbacks denied the Rams an outright win when they finished 5-135 in their second innings.
