WHATEVER comes of his WWE try-out, Bendigo wrestler Cadman Turner has already lived out a childhood dream.
And that’s the chance to wrestle in a WWE ring, which he did on Thursday.
“Mighty Cadman” was among 20 independent wrestlers invited to a WWE try-out in Melbourne led by WWE coaches William Regal and Matt Bloom and Canyon Ceman, the vice-president of talent development.
The try-out included in-ring workouts, cardio testing and a match in which Turner worked with Danilo Anfibio, who is also a referee for the WWE’S NXT program.
Turner, who has been wrestling for just three-and-a-half years, was the most inexperienced at the try-out.
“I got a lot of positive feedback, I now know what I’ve got to work on, and whatever happens from here, at least I can say I’ve wrestled in a WWE ring, which is what I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid,” Turner said.
