PARTS of central Victoria are still being warned of damaging winds.
Winds averaging 50 to 70km/h with peak gusts of 90 km/h are expected and may reach 110km/h across elevated areas above 1200 metres.
Maryborough, Castlemaine and Kyneton are among the towns affected.
People in the affected area are advised to move cars under cover or away from trees, secure any loose items outside, and stay clear of fallen power lines.
The Bureau of Meteorology will issue an update by 11am.

A SEVERE weather warning remains in place for parts of central Victoria, although Bendigo has fallen just outside the area at risk.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast damaging winds, which could reach 110km/h in elevated areas.
Forecaster Peter Newham said the cold front expected to sweep across the state could also bring showers and thunderstorms, but any rain was likely to clear up from midday.

THE Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning that covers parts of central Victoria.
A strong cold front is expected to move across the state on Thursday, bringing damaging winds averaging 60 to 70km/h, with peak gusts of 90km/h.
Elevated areas could experience winds of 110km/h.
The cold front is expected to enter western Victoria in the morning and reach eastern Victoria by the afternoon.
Bendigo, Maryborough and Castlemaine are among the towns that are likely to be affected.
The SES advises people to move cars under cover or away from trees, secure or put away loose items outside, and keep clear of any fallen power lines.
Thursday morning is also likely to bring showers across the region.
The next warning will be issued by 11am Wednesday.
