Police received calls reporting a Holden four wheel drive was swerving between lanes on the Northern Highway at Tooborac about 2.30pm Sunday.
After intercepting the car, police officers conducted breath tests on the 52-year-old man from Bendigo, who returned a reading of 0.21.
The man’s car was impounded with towing costs of $1125 and his licence was immediately suspended for 12 months.
He is expected to be charged on summons for drink driving offences.
