The Nets had rallied from a 13-point third term deficit to take the lead in the final quarter.
However, Dellavedova scored 12 of his 18 points in the final term to steady the ship for the Bucks.
Maryborough’s favourite son finished with 18 points on six of 10 shooting from the field and a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. He also had six assists and two rebounds.
"I think we had a chance in the third quarter to break the game wide open but we didn't take it," Dellavedova said after the game.
"They came back and played well, but then we did a good job of pulling away."
The win was Milwaukee’s fourth victory in a row and took their record to 10-8 ahead of a clash with Patty Mills and the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday morning (AEDT).
