The two-day event will feature animals, cookery, craft, floral and photography exhibits, ute competitions, wood chopping, shearing and wool-handling, rides, showbags and the popular fireworks displays.
This year the Rooftop Express will be a special feature, a show of stunts, showmanship, horse and cattle handling, and comedy.
The show was founded in 1859 and has been held every year since, except during World War II.
Tickets to the show, held at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds, are $15 for adults, $10 concession, $8 for children up to 15 years old, and free for children under five.
The show starts at 9am each day and the last event of each day, the fireworks, begins at 9pm.
