Amicus Group executive officer Ann-Marie Davis has been shortlisted for the For Purpose and Social Enterprise award, one of six women in the running for the award.
Ms Davis said she was honoured personally, but she was also “extremely proud of the work of people with disabilities and their families”.
She said the finalist announcement was a recognition that the work of Amicus was leading the way in disability services, adding that the organisation’s services were “quite unique”.
Winners will be announced in Melbourne on Tuesday and will become eligible for the national awards, announced in November.
