The 23rd event runs from October 10 to 14 in Melbourne and is expected to attract an audience of 7,000 international ITS professionals.
Epsom Primary School students are collaborating with students from five other schools on the Student AutoCar Programming Challenge: Smart City Project.
Their brief was to design and build a model smart city with robotic cars autonomously negotiating traffic lights, pedestrians and buildings.
The challenge was open to Australian students aged 12 – 17 years.
