“Police and SES members have concluded their search in relation to the alleged murder in Ironbark – no items of interest were found,” she said.
“As this matter is before the courts we can’t make any further comment.”
EARLIER: State Emergency Service volunteers are believed to be searching an area on the outskirts of Bendigo for the weapon used in the alleged murder of 18-year-old Hayden Coleman earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to an address in Energetic Street around 7.15pm on September 10 and treated Mr Coleman at the scene but he died before he could be transported to hospital.
Odin Gillin, 19, faced court on September 13 charged with his murder.
