WHITE Hills might have missed out on an A-grade flag, but still enjoyed plenty of success on HDFNL netball grand final day.
The Demons secured both the A-reserve and B-grade premierships with wins over North Bendigo.
Led by best-on-court Mandy McIntosh and accurate goal shooter Shannyn Keely, White Hills withstood a late fightback by North Bendigo to claim the A-reserve title.
The 47-42 win capped a dominant season from the Demons, who lost just once during the season.
It was a proud win for club stalwart Michelle Atherton, who captained the side.
Danni Wee-Hee was also a strong contributor in the win.
The Demons, earlier in the day, won the B-grade title with a 47-29 win over the Bulldogs.
The convincing win came after the Demons were forced to qualify through the preliminary final after being beaten by the Bulldogs in their semi-final encounter by four goals.
North Bendigo did not emerge empty-handed, with the Bulldogs B-reserve team defeating White Hills 46-35.
Goal shooter Hannah Tilburn was best on court.
The tone for Colbinabbin's success was set early in the day, with the Grasshoppers winning the 17-and-under and 15-and-under premierships.
In the 17-and-under game, Colbinabbin defeated Leitchville-Gunbower 51-38.
The 15-and-under premiership decider proved the closest match of the day, with Colbinabbin winning a nail-biter by one goal over Lockington-Bamawm United, which finished the minor rounds undefeated but lost twice in finals.
