Australia Post managing director and group chief executive officer, Ahmed Fahour, spoke of the “need to get ahead of the curve and that’s what innovation is about – getting ourselves ready for what the world will be, not what the world is today’’.
He told the gathering at the Bendigo Town Hall, that in this time of rapid technological transformation and innovation, business leaders needed to predict future trends to ensure they stayed ahead of the next wave of change.
Mr Fahour spoke about the digital transformation he is leading within Australia’s oldest continuously operating organisation – and his approach to leading that transformation in a business that has served Australian communities for more than 200 years.
He also spoke of the workplace change agenda - and why the cultural turn-around was so critical for Australia Post, as it transformed its business.
