Luke James Wallis, 33, is facing the two charges after the Australian Federal Police raided his home on August 11.
He appeared at a filing hearing in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court.
Police allege the offending took place between July 15 and August 9.
An AFP officer told the court the investigations remained in the “preliminary” stages.
Wallis was bailed to appear at a committal mention in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on November 9.
