It has been more than 20 years since anyone from central Victoria has qualified for the IPF national titles, and the team of Sue Farley, Rory Farley and Dean Mawby are ready to perform well.
For mother and son, Sue and Rory, this is their first excursion on the big stage.
Mawby held national records as a teenager, and more than 20 years has passed since he has been in the national championships.
The national championships with have more than 250 lifters battling it out for the title of Australia’s strongest.
Running concurrently with the national junior and Masters titles is the Melbourne Open championships. In this competition, Kevin Gray will be making his debut for the Real Strength team.
