Having been a candidate in the last three Federal elections my observation is that this one has been the least successful in capturing peoples interest.

However what may spark some action at the ballot box, is the referendum result for England to leave the EU.
This unexpected outcome in Britain is a reflection of the disconnect of the political elite and so-called ‘progressives’, with people at the grassroots of society.
It will encourage people not only here but in many parts of the world, that there is hope for those who are frustrated and exasperated with a wide variety of economic and particularly social changes, being forced down on the masses from the top of the pyramid.
First to take heart will be the members and volunteers of the Country Fire Authority who will see and feel a connection from across cities and regional areas for their fight against the odds and the autocratic rule of the Andrews government in Victoria.
I expect this will be “just the start of it”.
Farmers will gain courage against the power and might of the big supermarkets and the international bureaucracies that manipulate and dominate the lifeblood of their very efficient farms.
Opposing as I do, the massive LGBTI campaign to change the Marriage Act is not homophobic and nor is it a question of ‘equality’.
I believe it is possible to have a separate same-sex civil union carrying its own name other than ‘marriage’, enacted in legislation.
This will reflect the “equal but different” reality.
The introduction of the so-called ‘Safe School Program’ is altogether a different question and in my view is nothing more than a gender bending sex education program thinly disguised as anti-bullying.
It will not be accepted by parents.
The world and national economic and debt situation should be the main issue of this election, but as in Britain, I see a deeper concern with people that true democracy is broken and they want their say again.
My connection across central Victoria through regional tourism, the YMCA and my role as a Civil Marriage Celebrant should stand as confirmation of my commitment to the whole of the electorate, together with my reputation for saying it as it is.
Please put your number 1 in the last box of the green ballot and on the white Senate paper for the Family First Party.
