BENDIGO'S Brad Morgan and Matt Hall will put their undefeated records on the line at Saturday night's Battle on the Goldfields II professional boxing showcase.
The pair, who train under Pat and Connolly at their California Gully gym, have been ultra-impressive since turning professional less than a year ago.
Hard-hitting Morgan has two wins, both by knockout, in two fights, while the taller Hall has a win and a draw.
Morgan, who won fighter of the night for his debut effort at the first Battle on the Goldfields event last November, has had a late change of opponent.
He will now face Queenslander Dean Thomas, billed as the 'Blonde Bomber', who won his only professional fight in June 2014 against former Thai boxer Paitoon Jaikom.
Hall will face Tasmania visitor Johnny Brown, who is coming off a March loss, but has a 2-1 record.
Pat Connolly said both fighters were well prepared, physically and strength-wise.
"They are very strong for their weight, their technique is looking very good - I'm very happy with what I'm seeing," he said.
"My younger brother Gary has done a great job with them.
"Their attitude is right, their weight is right. They are ready to win and I think they will perform very well."
Connolly said Morgan and Hall were still in the embryo stages, after limited amateur careers, but were putting their punches together well.
"People have been impressed, hopefully we get up again," he said.
"My only concern with Brad is he's not getting the distance in, whereas Matty is with his fights.
"But if he keeps knocking them out, he keeps knocking them out..
“He is extremely strong for his weight.”
The eight bout card at Bendigo Stadium will also feature Marong LVFNL coach Damian Lock and an exhibition bout involving Bendigo Masters boxer Peter Natoli.
Lock, who won on debut last November has drawn Queenslander Cameron Kaddour in a four-round light heavyweight contest.
Highly touted Melbourne boxer Ibrahim Balla and Filipino John Neil Tabanao will main event for the vacant WBO Oriental featherweight title.
The card contains two women's bouts, with Chemeka 'Sugar Neekz' Johnson to face Thai boxer Atitaya Saisin and American Marina Ramirez to do battle with another Thai, Saranyaphong Theinthong.
Promoter Lynden Hosking was confident of a big night.
"We know the show will be awesome and we know we are going to have great fights," he said.
"The best man or woman will win."
