That’s after the Greater Bendigo Heritage Advisory Committee extended the deadline for its photography competition through to Tuesday, June 14.
Heritage Advisory Committee chair, councillor Peter Cox, encouraged people to enter saying it was a great way to raise awareness about Greater Bendigo’s magnificent heritage assets.
“There will be prizes awarded for the best photo taken each week, and prizes for the best photo and caption in the categories for Under-16s and Open,” Cr Cox said.
There are 10 prizes in total ranging from $100 to $500 in cash.
Photos must be taken in the City of Greater Bendigo in the past 12 months and there is a maximum of five entries per person.
A selection of photographs will be published in the City’s September edition of Greater Bendigo Magazine and the city reserves the right to publish the photographs online and in other publications.
Entrants should accompany their photographs of a person, place or thing with a description of 25 words or less on why they love it.
