We are undertaking this project to beautify this important and sensitive area, which it is hoped will become an enduring place of reflection and remembrance for people impacted by the loss of a baby.
Overall feedback has indicated that families were delighted to be provided with the opportunity to be involved in the planting day at the rejuvenated garden, and your partnership in creating such a great outcome and raising awareness is greatly appreciated by all.

The kindness of strangers
At a moment when you find yourself under difficulty, it was rewarding to see the kindness of strangers.
To the young men and the young couple that assisted a woman in distress outside Bendigo South East Secondary college on Monday night, I would like to let you know that your actions and kind support were much appreciated.
Beautiful people indeed.
Grateful, Strathdale
Call for flat bed tram
Many people will be aware of the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne and their amazing work.
I travel there several times a year to receive world class medical treatment for my daughter.
An issue that we confront every trip is transport.
In spite of their being an extremely expensive accessible tram stop out the front of the hospital, there are no trams on that line accessible to prams and wheelchairs.
This is more than a mild inconvenience.
It puts us in an awful position.
Do I hire a car? No, because I don't drive plus it is very expensive.
Do I pay for a chauffeured vehicle because my daughter is too young to ride in a taxi without restraints?
This costs upward of $80 for a ride to the airport and like many families with disability and medical fragility we are on very limited income.
Our only other option is to walk a minimum of two kilometres at a time in Melbourne weather with our medically fragile kiddo.
I have done that walk in the dark and the rain, let me tell you it is not fun and it is not good for my little girl who is battling for good health on so many fronts.
Please join me in asking the Honourable Member of Parliament Jacinta Allan to intervene in her capacity as minister for Public Transport and implore Yarra Trams to take a single Flat Bed Tram from the Casino line and put it on Line 55 or 59.
This would ensure families like mine have affordable public transport to The Royal Children's Hospital.
