A messy day lets children interact with liquids, goo, play dough, bubbles, water and other different material in activities that help show kids things like the effects of gravity and the way liquid behaves.
The hands-on activities will also let kids satisfy their curiosity and discover different textures. It is also a chance for parents to see what the non-profit organisation offers.
The Bendigo Community Toy Library is designed to give children a chance to enjoy a wide array of toys, puzzles, construction, imaginative and water play equipment that they may not normally get.
The library also purchases toys that most parents wouldn’t use at home because they are too big, too expensive, too hard to store or are unique.
The Bendigo Community Toy Library messy day is on March 19 from 9.30am to midday at the corner of Spring Gully Road and Kendall Street in Spring Gully.
