Patrick O’Toole had driven into Bendigo to start work at his newly-opened Bridgewater Bake House store in Bendigo and Theresa O’Toole was sleeping when the thieves entered the rear of the Bridgewater Bake House and wheeled away their 2014 Jayco Flamingo Outback.
The couple bought the caravan 12 months ago and were planning a Labour Day long weekend trip to Tchum Lake.
Bridgewater Police Leading Senior Constable Mick Balazs said the theft occurred between 11.30pm Thursday and 4.30am Friday.
“We’re looking for any witnesses who may have seen it travelling in and around the Bridgewater/Bendigo area.”
