"If we make the finals, the most-likely scenario is we won't play at home again until the second grand final game," Spirit guard Kelly Wilson said.
"We want Sunday's game to be a real party, to thank the Bendigo community for their amazing support this year. Sunday is your chance to help us take the next step in our finals dream, and our chance to repay your faith in us."
The Spirit plays Adelaide Lightning and must win to keep their final hopes alive.
"Adelaide is almost the form team at the moment. They have been flying in the past month,’’ Wilson said.
"They have had some big wins and some close losses, so we will need every edge we can get. We have been blown away by the size and the noise of the crowds this year, and we are now almost in a do-or-die situation.
"Our fighting spirit is legendary and Sunday will be a great chance for Spirit fans to see that first-hand."
