Bendigo’s thrilling three-shot win over Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo East’s demolition of Eaglehawk and Inglewood’s victory against Castlemaine has third and fourth place up for grabs heading into next week’s final round.
Golden Square, which defeated bottom team South Bendigo 14-64 to 2-49, will finish as minor premier, while Bendigo East has locked in second place after it thumped Eaglehawk 16-85 to 0-51.
Kangaroo Flat remains in third place despite its 12-65 to 4-62 loss to Bendigo.
Bendigo kept its finals hopes alive and are in fifth place.
Inglewood is fourth after scoring a comfortable 14-79 to 2-57 win over Castlemaine.
Inglewood hosts Bendigo in the final round of the regular season.
With third-placed Kangaroo Flat facing a tough game against second-placed Bendigo East, Inglewood could jump to third with a win over Bendigo.
Sixth-placed Eaglehawk hosts bottom team South Bendigo in the final round and needs a big win to have any chance of forcing its way into the four.
