Meetings are held in Bendigo every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the Salvation Army Hall, Mundy Street, and at 1pm on Saturdays at St Andrew’s Church, Myers Street. Social bowls
Join beginners and bowlers at social bowls on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12.30pm. Afternoon tea provided, bowls available. Flat-soled shoes must be worn. Venue: Bendigo Bowls Club, Barnard Street. Contact: 5443 4045 between 11am and 11.30am on the day.
Mobile library
Every Wednesday the mobile library comes to Axedale and is open from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Apart from many books and magazines, there are also DVDs, videos, CDs and large-print and talking books available.
Meditation
Gentle is the Way and Christian our approach. Thirty minutes of silent meditation: Mondays 9.30 am and Wednesdays 3.30 pm at St Luke’s church/hall 492 Napier St. White Hills. All welcome, no charge. Contact: Liz 5444 1875
Healthy Lifestyle
Bendigo a Healthy Lifestyle is a club run by volunteers, ensuring and striving to work towards and promote healthy weight control for women, men and young people. Meets every Wednesday from 5.30pm at the Long Gully Community Centre, Havilah Road, Bendigo. Cost $6 per week. Contact Steve on 0425 531 418.
Men's Shed Bendigo
