The first of the 660m events is race four where up and coming stayer Sweet Intention and the well-performed Tricky Mover look set to dominate the race from boxes one and two respectively.
Sweet Intention carried the red rug when an all the way 34.70 Sandown winner on November 3, and despite being a risky beginner the draw is ideal for her to race in a forward position and prove hard to hold out.
Tricky Mover has won seven races, including a 34.68 Sandown victory on November 3 and he too is well drawn in box two and could race closer to the lead.
Heat two of the distance series has several chances headed by last-start Cranbourne 699m winner Flash Riot and NSW chaser Isabella Cargo.
Flash Riot is a greyhound who can mix her form from time to time, but on her day is talented and more than capable of winning this event.
Dubbo trained Isabella Cargo will make the long trip to Bendigo for the first time, but her recent form including a smart 30.00 Dubbo win on October 19 suggests she will be hard to hold out with a clean start.
Other chances in the race include Able Chief and Mum’s Gem.
The 12-event racing card is not the only greyhound action at Lord’s Raceway this week with the 2015 Ready 2 Race sale to be held on Saturday.
Sixteen finals will be conducted from 10am Saturday morning before more than 60 young greyhounds ready to start their racing careers will be auctioned from 12.30pm.
Previous Ready 2 Race sales have unearthed some bargain buys and greyhounds that have provided their new owners with some fun and excitement on the track.
