The Bendigo Dragons won the gold medal in the 55 years and above section at last month's Australian Masters Games.
The Debbie Symes coached team played six matches across the week, winning five and losing one.
This qualified the Dragons for gold medal match against Adelaide team Vixens, with the Bendigo team prevailing by five goals.
The team's sole loss was by a solitary goal.
The team comprised Jolanta Bennie, Jenni Holborn, Irene Kline, Anne Young, Cath Zulian, Lauren Campbell, Debra Bentley, Julie Scott, Gayle Anderson.
Julie Lomas travelled with the team as an umpire.
The team included four players who represented the Dragons at the previous Australian Masters Games in Geelong.
That combination finished runners-up, losing just two games including the final to a combined team of New Zealand and Canberra netballers.
