The winner of the AFL Victoria Worksafe Medal in the BFNL grand final, Price polled 272 votes in the Dragons’ premier award to defeat midfielder Lee Coghlan by 35 votes.
Price played in 21 of the Dragons’ 22 games and only missed votes in one game.
Swingman Lachlan Ross was third on 234 votes, five clear of skipper Blair Holmes. Nick Stagg rounded out the top five on 198 votes.
Coghlan led the count going into the finals, but Price polled 62 votes in four finals games to Coghlan’s 10 to win the award for the first time.
Teenager Lachlan Tardrew polled more votes than any other Dragon in the finals series.
Brilliant defender Heather Oliver was a runaway winner of the A-Grade netball best and fairest award.
In a similar fashion to her stunning Betty Thompson Medal victory, Oliver polled 86 votes, 36 in front of Brooke Bolton.
Oliver polled votes in every game except round six. Six votes was the maximum a player could poll in one game and Oliver achieved that in six games.
Kelsey Sartori was third on 29 votes, while Stacey Rothacker was fourth on 20 votes.
