Along with a cohort from Strathfieldsaye Primary School the students hurled handfuls of coloured chalk at each other as they raced around a circuit to raise $3,000 for the Cancer Council.
BSE students Bridie Blake-Burrows and Rosie Jeffrey said they organised the event as a fun way to bring their peers together for a good cause.
“I love running, running is what I do, and I thought it was a good way to raise money for a good cause as well as show people what I love to do,” Bridie said.
“It gets everyone involved and everyone just has a lot of fun.”
Bridie said she hoped to raise even more money next year by making the run bigger and better and bringing more local schools on board.
