More than 100 regional leaders attended the Murray River Group of Councils biennial conference in Swan Hill on Friday. Minister for regional development Jaala Pulford attended the event with Mildura and Swan Hill city councils and the Gannawarra, Moira, Loddon and Campaspe shires. Ms Pulford launched the Murray Region Tourism Event Strategy which will support the regions’ $1billion tourism industry.
